Ruthie Murray

I've spent nearly twenty years designing and crafting fine jewelry, selling lines under my own name at museum stores, galleries, and Barney's Co-Op stores on both coasts. I've also designed for a number of national brands, including Iridesse, Tiffany and Co.'s collection of pearl boutiques.

I'm a native of Shawnee Mission, Kansas, and grew up making everything from pot holders to go-karts.  Eventually, I graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in Illustration, a career path I abandoned almost immediately in order to return to making things - furniture at first, then jewelry.  Now I live in Vermont and work in a studio I share with my illustrator husband and three canine assistants, near hiking trails and the general store.  It's the perfect place for me.
